When you start working in IT, it seems that the main thing is to write good code.
Then gradually a different level of understanding comes: one line of code is not enough. At some point, you're evaluated not only by what you've done with your hands but also by how much you can be relied upon in difficult situations.

Why is it so difficult with it? Because responsibility is almost always associated with risk. You can make a mistake, guess wrong with a solution, receive criticism, or be the one blamed. It's much safer to do your part, close the task, and formally remain "not responsible."
That's why there are always fewer people who are genuinely ready to take responsibility for themselves and for the results than those who simply do tasks well.
