Case: How I Gained Over 100 Subscribers in My Telegram Channel in One Week I have another Telegram channel that I started to write about automation in general, and about N8N in particular https://t.me/vibe_lc And I had an interesting case of how I attracted more than 100 subscribers to the channel in a week, simply by posting short vertical videos on TikTok and YouTube, spending no more than 15 minutes a day on it. This was an experiment, and I want to share the results with you. The essence of the experiment was that I posted daily videos that I created using CapCut and ElevenLabs. With ElevenLabs, I generated the narrator's speech for the video, and with CapCut, I overlaid any background video onto the speech. It didn't matter what was on the video because the whole point was *what the narrator says* and *how he says it*. ElevenLabs allows converting text into speech, and the speech sounds as professional and clear as possible by using voices of professional narrators. For viewers watching the video, the clear and beautiful speech turned out to be even more important than what was happening on the video (so it turned out to be not that important). The second factor influencing reach was the hook in the first 3 seconds of the video. It's really important to grab attention right away. And the third factor was dynamic background music, which only added clarity to the narrator. 🙂 All of this took me about 15 minutes a day: creating the voice-over video and editing the video. And I spent zero rubles on this experiment because ElevenLabs has a free monthly limit. In the end, it turned out to be a simple and effective tool to get reach on social media and, in my case, convert it into subscribers for my Telegram channel. Give it a try. I’ve attached an example of one such video that has over 20,000 views 🙂

Summary

The author shares a successful experiment in rapidly growing a Telegram channel focused on automation and N8N by leveraging short vertical videos on TikTok and YouTube. Over the course of a week, they gained more than 100 subscribers by dedicating just 15 minutes daily to creating content. The videos were produced using CapCut for editing and ElevenLabs for generating professional-quality narration from text. The key to engagement was the emphasis on clear, compelling voice-overs, with the first three seconds featuring a strong hook to capture viewers' attention. Dynamic background music was also used to enhance the overall presentation. This approach proved to be cost-effective, as ElevenLabs offers a free monthly limit, and the entire process required minimal time investment. The strategy demonstrated that high-quality narration and attention-grabbing hooks are crucial for social media reach and subscriber growth. The author encourages others to try this simple yet effective method, sharing an example video that garnered over 20,000 views, illustrating the potential for rapid audience expansion through short, well-crafted videos.
