If I were to create a development team from scratch in 2025 I would hire only middle+ developers with experience in AI-assisted coding in IDEs (no websites or chatbots). But, VibeCoders, don’t get too excited just yet, because I would automate code review with AI to make it criticize developers for not following best practices, not using patterns, and security issues. Project documentation would be AI-enhanced: the core is written by a human, structured and expanded by AI. As a result, you could end up with a super-compact development team capable of very quickly and, most importantly, high-quality project implementation. Perhaps, the future lies with such micro-teams, where developing any project tailored to your needs becomes easier than paying huge sums for enterprise software. And even now, with such teams, you can create your own “startup factory”: simply copy well-known online services in a short time and compete with them, or expand into new markets.
