AI Copilot for Creating Online Surveys Have you ever created survey forms in Google Forms or Yandex Forms? If yes, you probably understand the overall process of creating a survey and that it can sometimes take a lot of time. Today, I will talk about another experiment, but of a more practical nature — AI Copilot for creating online surveys. Imagine that when creating a survey, you need to perform many actions in the form builder interface: adding questions, pages, options, etc. You don't even need to understand the interface itself; just tell the AI assistant: “Create a survey on the best movie of 2025 and include socio-demographic questions,” “Move all socio-demographic questions to the end of the survey,” “Split the survey into pages with 3 questions each,” and so on. Any action that would take you a lot of time can be requested from the AI assistant. And these AI copilots already have a truly practical purpose, as they can significantly simplify user interaction with complex website interfaces. The form builder is just a specific case; such copilots can be integrated into many other services where there are slightly more complex forms than two input fields and one button. For example, have you seen those complex real estate search forms on real estate agency websites? Instead of dealing with a complicated form, you could simply write: “Find a 2-room apartment in the center of Novosibirsk along the metro line, no more than 15,000,000 rubles, with good repairs.” I also attached a video demonstrating the copilot. The demo was made based on the open-source SurveyJS library, which is a complex survey creation interface. To give you an idea, these copilots are just beginning to emerge, and services are just starting to implement them. Western projects are already actively integrating them into their interfaces, but for the domestic market, this is still new. Therefore, it’s safe to say that whoever starts implementing such systems first in the Russian market can gain a significant advantage over competitors and move ahead. Share your ideas in the comments about complex interfaces where the implementation of copilots could greatly simplify working with them.

Summary

The article discusses the development and practical application of AI copilots in creating online surveys and complex web forms. Traditionally, designing surveys in platforms like Google Forms or Yandex Forms can be time-consuming, involving multiple manual actions such as adding questions, organizing pages, and adjusting options. The introduction of AI copilots aims to streamline this process by allowing users to simply instruct the AI to perform tasks, such as creating a survey on a specific topic, rearranging questions, or splitting the survey into pages. These AI assistants significantly enhance user interaction with complex interfaces, not only in survey creation but also in other areas like real estate search forms, where users can specify detailed criteria through natural language commands. The article highlights a demo based on the open-source SurveyJS library, illustrating how such copilots are beginning to emerge and gain traction, especially in Western markets. For the Russian market, early adoption of these systems could provide a competitive edge. The piece encourages sharing ideas on how copilots could simplify other complex interfaces, emphasizing their potential to revolutionize user experience across various online services.
